Mr. Tan is fondly known as CS Tan in the stockbroking fraternity.

He graduated from University of Malaya in 1984 and started his career with an established local banking group for 10 years before he joined the stockbroking industry in 1993, assuming various senior management positions as director, head of dealing and CEOs, aggressively driving the online trading business.

CS was instrumental in revolutionized the Online Trading environment while he was the CEOs of both Jupiter Securities and Malacca Securities with comprehensive fundamental and technical analysis tools in one single platform and with cost effective proposal for customers to profit with “one tick” using the Online trading platform particularly for the savvy traders.

CS is also the pioneer in Malaysia introducing structured and formal Discretionary Trading Services or “portfolio management services” at a very cost-effective proposal which are managed by a “dedicated licensed Dealer’s Representatives team” to meet the market demand for a cheaper alternative for professional portfolio management services. The trading approaches are designed based on a combination of Fundamental consideration, Technical analysis and Volume Price analysis in forming a few trading strategies to cater for the different investment horizon and the different risk tolerance profile of the investors.
